The Darkest Hour: AMAZING WORK FROM GARY OLDMAN & JOE WRIGHT

Most of you know I am a history junkie and a army veteran myself so I was drawn to this movie and I had a pleasure to interview Gary and Joe.  This movie centers around a phenomenal man who changed the course of history with one decision and that was to defeat Hitler. That man was Winston Churchill (Prime Minister of Great Britain) which is played by the amazing Gary Oldman.  This movie was directed by Joe Wright  who is know for so outstanding films (Pride & Prejudice , Hanna , Pan and many more.   Gary told me it took hours to get into costume to be Winston. Gary had Winston down pack to the point I forgot it was Gary. He had all his mannerisms and his lip movement. This movie speaks on a time when Churchill had to decide if he should work with Hitler or take him out. Churchill changes the tide during the war. Churchill was a interesting man and I bet you didn’t know Churchill was apart of the Society  of the Cincinnati which were an elite group of officers who served during all wars and it has been passed down since generations.  The Exhibit is in Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. Check out the movie and get a history lesson and learn more about what Churchill faced during that time. I employ you to watch the movie. you will love it . The video interview will be added soon.
