BLERDCON 2018 REVIEW

Blerdcon was amazing. As a Amine junkie I felt at home with my people. So many years of anime, comic book and gamer junkie being shunned for their love of comic , video games and cosplay. This a con where everyone fits in. You can be a gamer in the game room or play vintage games no matter how old you are. Reminisce on your child hold or cosplay your favorite anime or comic book characters with your children. There were so many different venders and artist from all over the world. I got some merchandise from a couple of amazing artist such as Happy Monstah. They were dope and they had an amazing story. They came all the way from Brooklyn, NY to be apart of this amazing event. They had action figures and movie screening and panels. Alot of people are making a career out of Cosplay. It is a big thing. The Blerdcon community is vast. There were so actor from the Black Panther movie on site signing autographs. The Highlight of the con were the most humblest and amazing actors Karan Ashley (Original Yellow Power Ranger actress, singer, TV host, radio show host, reality star, writer and TV and film producer.) and Kevin Grevioux Co- creator of Underworld, ( actor, screenwriter, and comic book writer). They were both amazing. The killer was getting a autographed copy of UnderWorld form Kevin. Interviewing them of both was amazing. I felt like a kid again, it was “Morphine Time” Next year it will be even bigger. If you missed this year they you have to come next year. I will be there in 2019.
