Let’s get ahead of the trends and ready to ward off Winter’s brisk cold. Dialing back in time, the Sixties ‘love affair’ is back with beautiful color palettes, the glare of illuminating gold and bold prints.
The collection theme of this season are about staying warm, structured lines, enveloped silhouettes and unisex looks in dramatic capes, mod with rich colour, flamboyant fur, feathers and shearling.

Gucci’s Fall 2014 showed Frida Giannini’s nod to the sixties mod movement. This collection, along with other designers took you back to the 60’s era, a theme during Milan Fashion Week 2014. The collection was extremely polished and had such clean lines that was glammed up perfectly with just the right embellishments, accessories or cocooned silhouettes of Flamboyant fur.

We have a variety of structured shape options this season with colours such as blush, peach, blues, Khaki and army green. Sophisticated and Clean Lines, classy jackets paired with trendy slim pants are prevalent with flamboyant fur options.
This season, it’s easy to see warm, fluffy and cool looks for outerwear paired here with chocolate brown skirts, while bringing the same kind of ruffle element you may have worn during the summer. To complete the look, small details such as high boots, as seen. Army green and chocolate color work well together.
The A-Line Silhouettes of the season embrace the sixties inspirations to show us a fabulous feminine look. The slim fitted suits paired with shaggy fur coats and sweaters give us great buying inspiration for our wardrobe.
We cannot forget my favorite, Animal Print! Animal print jacket, coat or dress paired with python, taupe and black long riding boots gives a great 60’s retro look that is timeless. Don’t forget, these fabulous boots work perfectly with a short skirt as well.
