Actress NeNe Leakes is a busy woman this year! This wife, ‘glam ma’ and actress won’t just be appearing on your television sets this fall on the hit Bravo Network Show, ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’. With a November debut on broadway in the play , ‘Cinderella’ by Rodgers and Hammerstein, she’s added title of fashion designer to her name. Mrs. Leakes is now in your wardrobe closets with her new clothing line, NeNe by NeNe Leakes for HSN. She’s a woman definitely on fire!
From acting to designing NeNe Leakes, 46, is promoting her new clothing line available for sizes 2-24, NeNe by NeNe Leakes for HSN. With most styles selling out in just a few days of launching, the brand is designed for women of all shapes and curves while maintaining an affordable price. Leakes spent the last year designing her 17-piece collection containing an array of cardigans, blouses, dresses, and more! More clothing pieces are expected to arrive in October with the addition of jewelry in January 2015.
Aside from the collection, Leakes will be appearing in many upcoming acting roles and on broadway. A fan favorite, she will returning in Bravo’s hit “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” later this fall when the show returns for its seventh season. With new cast members, Leakes remains the only original housewife on the show, the most successful in the franchise. Earlier this year, Leakes made on stage history as the only celebrity performer in the 30 year history of Cirque Du Soleil when she joined the cast of Zumanity in Las Vegas for a limited engagement. Leakes is also taking on broadway and making her debut in ‘Cinderella’ as the wicked stepmother Madame. With Leakes starting rehearsals in November and a pre-Thanksgiving debut, she’ll appear on stage through the end of the year. Show dates are November 25th thru January 3rd in New York City. Did I say NeNe is on ‘fire’ already?!
On her website she has great suggestions of how to wear certain garments she likes to great accessory choices. On the site, Ne Ne says, “In the design room workin on my clothing line! When one door closes, another one opens. Bloop! #watch&learn”. You go Ne Ne! We are definitely watching and learning Ne Ne Leakes is not playing.
