After listening to the highly anticipated Mixtape by Eleven Ego Crusher, I’m glad to say it was worth the wait. The artist Eleven had suffered a stroke a couple of years ago and he survived that tragedy. He put his transition and journey to recovery into his newest project the “Hydralazine 2”. This mixtape is filled with a variation of songs that will left your spirits like “Feel Good” Ft . Full Force and Faith Evans. It gives you that gospel feel if you were having a bad day this song will up lift you in a big way. Eleven describes after his stroke he fought for his life and he feels good. The song “Another Dollar” is a good that anyone can relate too. It depicts the struggles that everyone goes through just trying to survive in this world. “Make it happen touches on what is facing Baltimore in 2015 in regards to injustice and police brutality. In Rags to Riches Eleven delivers explosive lyrics that keeps the listener engaged. There are so many wonderful songs in this new project. Eleven is giving his listeners his story of recovery and triumph after a stroke that nearly cost him his life. He shows us that you can overcome anything.
