WHY MUST PEOPLE DIE TO BE HEARD? BY LUSH
Tell me why a man dies in police custody again? Freddie Gray: Others who died in police custody.
“The bizarre circumstances surrounding Freddie Gray’s death have inflamed tensions across the country. How could a man suffer a severe spinal cord injury after getting arrested? And what happened in the 30 minutes before he was taken to a hospital? Gray wavered in and out of a coma and died Sunday, one week after his arrest. It’s not clear how he suffered the spinal cord injury. But Gray is far from the only suspect who died under questionable circumstances after he was already in custody. At some point, he suffered a severe spinal cord injury. His family said his voice box was crushed and his neck snapped before he slipped into a coma and died.” Via CNN
How many people have to die? When do human lives matter? How can someone suffer severe injuries while in custody when he is not resisting arrest. A patty wagon became a grave for Freddie the day of his arrest. The war that has risen in Baltimore is a flame that has been burning for years. You kill people like animals. Shame on the political figures that say they are for the people but , yet are not in touch with their community and their needs. Shame on the Political figures that use funds for the people of baltimore and use it to by cars and go on trips. They do this while their people starve. They have been treating the people of baltimore like animals or years and oppressing them and they have taken it. The Freddie Gray death was the tip of the iceberg that ignited the flame of buried anger within the Baltimore natives. Don’t speak on justice Mr or Mrs Political figure , act on it. If you treat a person like a savage , starve and take from them; the beast will come out. The beast has awaken in Baltimore. You must know the history of these people. Talking to historian and activist Doni Bmorenews Blackwallstreet I learned the story of the people of baltimore. The people of Baltimore have lost faith in their officials who promised them change and sold them dreams. These people feel they have nothing to lose. They have spoken out, they have protested , they have done everything peaceful but, their voices weren’t heard. When they silence you and you get fed up , you break the silence. Silence is now broken in Baltimore. People are attacking with no remorse because , they feel the political figures had no remorse for them. I don’t believe in violence but, I believe in justice. Justice must be served and quickly before the worst comes. We must pray as a nation , we must understand killing innocent people is unjust. I pray for the innocent people caught in the crossfire of this event. Violence is not the answer, but what is ? Thats the question my people , What is? When does it end huh, when a political figures child is killed like a dog and then they will act ? This is sad that in this day and age we are going through this. Racial profiling , pure evil is happening and they want to sweep it under the rug. Baltimore is making their voice be heard and there will not be silence until they receive justice. We must pray my people, we must pray my nation , we must find peace in this turmoil that has been given to us. We must find resolve or nation will become a full on war zone. The people of this nation are powerful, never underestimate a person with their back against the wall.
