Boil Water Advisory In PG COUNTY #ALERT!!! WATER CONTAMINATED
LAUREL, Md. – Some residents remain under a boil water advisory Wednesday because of a broken water main at Tanglewood Drive near Alternate Route 1.
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission issued the advisory for around 100,000 customers in areas of Hyattsville, Bladensburg, Mt. Rainier, Cheverly, Chillum, Edmonston, Landover Hills, Glen Arden, and Fairmont Heights.
WSSC says water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute and cooled before drinking it, washing dishes, brushing your teeth, or using it to prepare food.
Water for pets should be boiled and then cooled for use.
The advisory is in place for 48 hours.
